Hi everyone! The following is a popular story by a good friend of ours
Miya chan:

It was such a disappointment to see so many celebrities in the
movie industry with such disastrous politics caused by their jealousy,
snobbishness, egoism, selfishness, and materialism.

A popular actor who appeared in Titanic asked for a scene to be cut

even though professional editors felt the scene was crucial to the movie.

Because this same actor was well-known, his insistence prevailed
over the professionals' stance, and the scene was cut from the film.

The editor was very unhappy. Once the final project was shown to others
and that actor, he decided he was wrong in having the scene cut,
and so had it be put back in!

An academy award winning actress did not listen to an adviser and
decided to be the main character of a film that was sure to be a flop.
For sure, it was a flop!

Another popular actress who captured the hearts of
the public for her commanding roles in romantic films became so
demanding when it came to sign the contract; "I need a personal
trainer, a nanny for my children, and a private jet flying back and
forth between the studios and my home!"

Boy, was that enough!? The higher their salaries get, the more
their demands seem to become.

A musical movie actress, who enslaved
many fans in the US by her beautiful voice, had once an argument
with a co-worker while she directed and starred in a film shooting
in Europe.

In the middle of the night while an executive was asleep at home in
the US, his telephone rang. He picked it up, and the first thing he
heard was, Ax the b---- out of here!!

It was a call from her. The executive had to become a mediator
for her. The problem was solved, but still another issue came up:
money!

The movie was only two thirds done when she had used up
all the budget. "I need some financing, or I'll quit filming!,"said

she, who showed no mercy in how much trouble she would be making
for everyone if she were to quit in the middle of the filming.

This would have left the distributor a huge deficit and liability.
The film had to be completed. Thus, the distributor
had to come up with financing by all means.

The charming and graceful character showed on screen may trick
the audience, but the reality is not nearly the same.

Famous celebrities often become conceited, self-absorbed, and abusive
of their popularity to influence so many.

However, we as ordinary people, would never know how we
would behave if we were wearing the same shoes.

Considering the philosophy of Buddhism, I clearly
learned that celebrities are indeed showing us
the true reality of a human being.
